From Deidesheim in both a northerly and southerly direction you can
the
“German Wine Route Cycle Route”
and its corresponding markings
“green bicycle, green grape on white background” follow.
The trail leads through the largest contiguous wine-growing region in Germany.

If you want to take it a little more leisurely, follow the markings with the orange “turnip”
on the
“Cabbage and turnip cycle path”
. This promises pleasure for all the senses: fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, also in distilled form as brandy or liqueur.
Enjoy cycling in the literal sense of the word!

A tour on the Salier cycle path is also particularly rewarding.
“Salier cycle path”
. Under the “sign of the crown”, it takes a relaxed route through the Rhine plain to the cathedral city of Speyer, which is over 2000 years old.
